You guys, I’m just oozing with excitement to share this wedding. It was such a sweet, special and beautiful day! It was one of those weddings where I fell in love with love more. I know.. it sounds super sappy and cliche but I really do just have a job that makes my heart sing. This wedding was one of those where you could feel the love of the day deep in your bones. There were so many moments that shouted out the love Josh and Hannah share… his face when she walked down the aisle, their feet washing ceremony, the laughs they shared during portraits, the fact that they were pretty much inseparable during their reception and of course the way Josh looks at Hannah (and the smile she flashes back at him.)
Weddings are such a precious reminder of the beauty of love between two people and the forever commitment shared between husband and wife. My heart leaps with joy each time the minister says, “I now pronounce you husband and wife.” I’ve typically walked through 12-18 months of wedding planning with my clients at that point and I have so much love for them that I’m not just documenting their day, I’m soaking in the moments alongside them. After a wedding I typically go home with a heart full of inspiration to love my husband more deeply… to continue to grow our marriage. Love is inspiring, uplifting… it’s joyful and euphoric and it’s BEAUTIFUL. Sometimes Ray and I have those ‘If I won the lottery talks’…which we don’t really play, but it’s fun to dream right? And I always say, I’d still shoot weddings and I really would! I’m so in love with the process of seeing couples go from engaged to married and am often blessed to see them become parents. I love celebrating peoples’ best moments. I am truly blessed by each one of my clients.
So thank you guys for allowing me to peak into your lives at such special milestones and help document what the generations after you will be looking through some day. They will cherish these moments frozen in time, just like you do. Hope ya’ll enjoy this wedding!
