SO excited to bring this sweet wedding to ya’ll this afternoon. Ali is one of my best friends from high school and it was an honor watching her pledge forever to the love of her life at Sandlewood a few weeks ago. She has such a fun, artistic style! The wedding day was a perfect blend of their lives growing up in Ecuador and their American roots as well. Hope ya’ll enjoy this beautiful day!
I loved her emerald ring and custom band alongside these colorful flowers from Striking Stems.
I really enjoyed all of her details! The Happily Ever After clutch above was adorable the bouquet is one of my absolute favorites ever, I love the richness of the colors in it. Her dad’s face when he saw her for the first time was incredible. I think every girl dreams of this day and his reaction to seeing his baby girl ready to walk down the aisle was priceless. We did their first look on a top balcony so they could have a private moment away from everyone. Ali’s face when she’s about to walk up to him is so precious. The excitement throughout the day was off the charts. Outdoor ceremonies are the best in my opinion. I know it can be a little iffy because of the weather but that’s why you book a venue with a chapel, like Sandlewood Manor. That way you have a backup plan just incase and you can get married under the trees without any stress! When they took communion for the first time as a family — my goodness it was a holy moment. They had friends singing while they did it and in the second photo here, the way Dennis looks up at Steve… heart melted! One great thing about doing a first look is that you don’t have any portraits to take with family after the ceremony besides each other! Aren’t they absolutely glowing!? It’s obviously because they just got married, but I think also because they were able to get some time together during portraits right after the ceremony. If at all possible, I recommend having your getaway car arrive before the sun goes down. It allows you to utilize it for portraits just like these! I think it really makes it worth having one because you’re just enjoying it for the exit and the ride to the hotel. Royal Coach Classic Limos is so great to work with. This tree at Sandlewood is so epic. It feels even bigger in real life than it does in this photo! This ballroom looks amazing in with emerald green linens and I love the florals from Striking Stems and the design from Love Birds! The porch at Sandlewood Manor has stairways to the right and left but I just didn’t want to split the line up. So we decided to bring everyone out to the front of the fountain — which I’m so thankful that the vendors and guests both believed in my vision because man these turned out great! I love the fountain and venue in the background, and you can’t forget Ali’s exit dress!! Hot mama! And their happily ever after started. It was such an honor to be a part of their day. I’m so abundantly thankful to know them and love them!
