I’ve been a professional photographer since 2002 and have proudly owned JW Baugh Photography in The Woodlands since 2009. Over the years, I’ve photographed more than 200 weddings — an experience that shaped the way I see light, anticipate moments, and protect what matters most.
Weddings were a deeply meaningful season of my career. They taught me how to work with intention, lead calmly under pressure, and capture emotion as it naturally unfolds. About five years ago, I began intentionally shifting my focus toward corporate, commercial, and portrait photography — and it’s been an exciting evolution.
Today, I primarily partner with businesses to create polished, strategic imagery. From in-studio product photography to directing full-scale marketing shoots designed to serve brands across print and digital platforms, I help companies build visual credibility and tell their story with clarity. I also photograph families and individuals in studio, creating refined portraits that feel natural, connected, and timeless.
And yes — I still photograph weddings.
But these days, I’m selective. I take on a limited number each year — the kind that truly spark my creativity and remind me why I fell in love with photographing love stories in the first place.
I hold a degree in Fine Art Photography from Texas State University, but what matters most to me is connection and clarity of vision. My clients know I’ve got their back — whether that means perfecting lighting for a product launch, overseeing a comprehensive brand shoot from concept to final delivery, or documenting a celebration that deserves to be remembered beautifully. I approach every project with intention, preparation, and a deep respect for what’s at stake — because strong imagery isn’t just creative, it’s strategic.
I’m also a lover of Jesus, wife of 17 years, mom of three, a dog lover, and happiest during the summer months — especially if there’s water involved. That balance of real life and professionalism is something I bring into every session: calm, prepared, and fully invested.
