Well folks it’s been a while since I’ve blogged! August is always relatively slow here in Houston because not a ton of people want to get married in the most intense heat of the year. I typically take my vacation time in August and September and use that time to recharge and revamp things within my business. Also, Harvey hit which slowed Houston down some, which is a really good thing … people took time to help their neighbors and the community. I hate the destruction Harvey caused but I love the response of love that I’ve seen. This wedding took place the weekend after Harvey and both venues were not flooded (thank you Jesus!)
The weather was absolutely enjoyable thanks to Harvey, so I guess that’s a way to look on the bright side of things. Chris & Bethany had a flawless day and I was so thankful to be a part of it. I loved working with so many of my favorite vendors too! There were some really fun moments at the reception, Bethany’s uncle wrote a song for them that was hilarious (see rubber ducky photos) and they also did a second line dance which is New Orleans tradition. So much fun! Hope ya’ll enjoy these images!!
